Colomba Bianca closes the year with a bang.
The Sicilian wine cooperative operating in the territory of Trapani has received the gold medal signed Effervescent du Monde, the twentieth edition of the international competition that takes place annually in France and which rewards the best sparkling wines in the world.

The Lavì Grillo Extra Dry sparkling wine, produced from grapes that grow in perfect symbiosis with the territory, obtains the award: « the comparison with historical areas of the world and renowned for the production of bubbles, is fundamental to have an index and understand if the direction taken is the right one – comments Mattia Filippi (Uva Sapiens), wine consultant of Colomba Bianca – the gold medal, obtained for the second consecutive year with the same label, is a confirmation of the quality and recognizability of Colomba Bianca products.»
In Italy only three wineries, including Colomba Bianca, have obtained one of the most prestigious international awards in the wine sector, which brings together 25 countries, 500 sparkling wines, 80 international judges and rigorous standards for selection.
Leonardo Taschetta, President of Cantina Colomba Bianca, commented: «A great result that comes at the crowning of a far-sighted path undertaken by our company on specific international markets where we decided to invest continuously. These awards fill us with pride and reward the efforts made by our small local winemakers, who have always been the beating heart of our production experience.»
